    Step by step how I installed Directadmin on CentOs 6.2 32bit on Versio Cloudbox VPS. Choose the template CentOS 6.2 x86.
    Step 1) Login into your server using ssh.
    On Mac OS X command: ssh root@yourserverip

    Step 2) Run preinstall commands:

    Step 2.1) yum update -y
    This will install 3 Package(s) and
    Upgrade 93 Package(s)

    Step 2.2) yum install wget gcc gcc-c++ flex bison make bind bind-libs bind-utils openssl openssl-devel perl quota libaio libcom_err- devel libcurl-dev gd zlib-devel zip unzip libcap-devel cronie
    This will install 50 Package(s)

    Step 3) Dowload Directadmin on your temp directory:
    cd /tmp
    wget http://directadmin.com/setup.sh

    Step 4) Make sure you've got the right permision to run setup.sh
    chmod 755 setup.sh

    Step 5) run setup.sh command:
    You will be prompted for a client ID number, license ID number, and hostname.
    Enter your hostname (FQDN) : server1.yourdomain.com
    Go to your client panel: https://www.secure.versio.nl/klant.php
    choose your Cloudbox>then Licentie beheren. Please make sure you add your server IP to your licence

    -->DirectAdmin will now be installed on: Enterprise 6.3
    -->Is this correct? (must match license) (y,n) : y
    -->Enter your choice (1, 2 or 3): 3
    -->Would you like the default settings of apache 2.2 and php 5.3 cli? (y/n): y
    Wait for 2 hour for the setup to finish!

    If you have any comment please post it here. (mag ook in het Nederlands ;))

    Ok DA is installed now.

    To login into DA: http://yourserverip:2222
    If you already redirect your subdomain server1.yourdomain.com to your serverip then you can login with http://server1.yourdomain.com:2222

    To go futher I've taken a backup of the disk.
    Click on Virtual Machines> Goto Storage>Disk>Click on backup list (vrachtwagen icon) on your primary disk> click on button "Take Backup"

    Then go to this tutorial for DA settings and firewall setup:

    I've tried to setup the firewall as in the tutorial.
    I'll get Checking Perl modules...perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
    perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
    LANGUAGE = (unset),
    LC_ALL = (unset),
    LC_CTYPE = "UTF-8",
    LANG = "en_US.UTF-8"
    are supported and installed on your system.
    perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

    Steps to soved this
    1) Run your localsetting usings this commands:

    -export LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8
    -export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
    -export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8

    2)Install perl-Time-HiRes
    yum -y install perl-Time-HiRes

    3) run sh install.sh again

    This is what I found that installs DirectAdmin well. The problem I am facing is that when installing Wordpress on a domain, the files cannot be automatically changed or created. It seems to be a php write permissions issue.

    Anyone has a fix for this?
